Montanez came up big in Bowie's 75-37 victory
While Tuesday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Derek Montanez. He turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday: he scored 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season.
Montanez and Bowie will head out on the road to square off against the Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Irvin is coming into the match hot: they've won five straight at home.
