3A Region 2 recap October 22, 2013
Harding Academy added to the longest winning streak in 3A Region 2 this week by beating Riverview, 44-7. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
The Raiders lost to Harding Academy 44-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Weston Moore was a bright spot for Riverview, as he caught 1 pass for 51 yards in the defeat.
Thanks to the talents of Adam Dycus and Justin Bailey, Mayflower has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Dycus is tops in the league in passing with 2,308 yards, while Bailey has rushed for 649 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Episcopal's Allie Freeman, with 656 yards on 43 catches.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Barton takes on the Wildcats. The Bears are in second place, while Episcopal is in third place.
