Basketball Recap: McAlester Find Success

McAlester got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They secured a 46-41 W over the Edison Eagles on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Buffaloes also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

McAlester is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Edison, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

McAlester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-43 win against Will Rogers College on the 4th. As for Edison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-34 loss against Durant on the 4th.
