Adding to the longest winning streak in Northern Plains (8 Man) this week, St. John's/Tipton Catholic beat Logan 40-14. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Bluejays.

Natoma and Heartland Christian played the closest game in the league this week, with Natoma eventually emerging with a 56-50 victory.

Jake Tiernan was a passing and rushing force as Osborne defeated Clifton-Clyde. He completed 11 passes for 241 yards and 4 touchdowns and also ran for 59 yards. Tiernan's key target this week was Brandt Wolters, who caught 5 passes for 144 yards.

Colton Panzer made the biggest impact on defense this week as Lincoln lost to Central Plains. The 5-foot-11 senior recorded 1 fumble.

Chanse Copple threw for 143 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Copple and Devon Freeman gave Rock Hills a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Teammate Spencer Callaway added to the ground attack by rushing for 85 yards.

5-foot-10 quarterback Ryan Perkins of Southern Cloud is the league leader in passing yards this season with 953. He has also thrown 17 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Freeman. The Rock Hills star has 28 catches for 456 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when St. John's/Tipton Catholic takes on Lakeside. Keith Kresin's team is in first place, while Lakeside is in 13th place.
