Recap: Hemet Bulldogs vs. Moreno Valley Vikings        
        
		
            
 The Hemet Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Moreno Valley Vikings, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. Hemet took down Moreno Valley 69-50. Given Hemet's advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 280th, while Moreno Valley is ranked 719th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Despite the loss, Moreno Valley still got an impressive performance from   Jamall Thompson, who  dropped  a double-double on 25 points and 13  rebounds. Those 13  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zyetice Hayes, who  scored ten points along with four  steals.
 Hemet has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Moreno Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
 Hemet will head out on the road to face off against Valley View at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Moreno Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orange Vista at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Orange Vista is hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
