Baseball Recap: Harrah Comes Up Short

Harrah managed to slip by Ada the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 15-5 to the Cougars on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Brayden Costilla and Joey Mclaughlin did some serious damage despite the final result: Costilla scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Mclaughlin went 1-for-2 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Cal Whitnah, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Harrah has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season. As for Ada, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Harrah will welcome McLoud at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ada, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Rock Creek at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th.
