Basketball Game Preview: Gainesville Bulldogs vs. Seymour Tigers

The Gainesville Bulldogs will square off against the Seymour Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Gainesville is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They fell 71-58 to Crocker.

Meanwhile, Seymour didn't have too much trouble with Skyline on Wednesday as they won 63-49.

Seymour's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Gainesville strolled past Seymour in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 71-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gainesville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
