Basketball Game Preview: Arleta Mustangs vs. Garfield Bulldogs

Arleta is 0-4 against Garfield since February of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The two teams will face off at 4:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Arleta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.

Arleta's tournament run continued when they took on Bravo on Tuesday. Arleta breezed by Bravo to the tune of 84-42. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Garfield entered their tilt with Hamilton on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They pulled ahead with a 48-47 photo finish over the Yankees.

Garfield's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Arleta, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Arleta came up short against Garfield in their previous matchup back in February, falling 46-41. Can Arleta avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
