King's Christian piles up the points against Calvary Academy

King's Christian can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They breezed by Calvary Academy on the road to the tune of 71-28. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-16.

It was another big night for Jason Brice, who scored 18 points. He hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Johnson, who scored 12 points.

Despite the loss, Calvary Academy still got an impressive performance from Jake Nelson, who scored 15 points. Nelson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played.

The win was the fifth in a row for King's Christian, bringing their record for this year to 11-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Calvary Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Coincidentally, King's Christian and the Warrior will both be playing the Crusaders the next time they take the court. Calvary Academy will head out to face Cumberland Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, while King's Christian will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
