Basketball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

Adrian lost to Echo back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Antelopes were outmatched by the Cougars and fell 64-36. While losing is never fun, the Antelopes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Cougars are ranked 39th).

Adrian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Echo, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Adrian has already played their next game, a 45-36 defeat against Harper on the 20th. As for Echo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
