Cumberland Christian scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moorestown Friends Foxes. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nate Torres made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Yohan Santiago, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Cumberland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Moorestown Friends, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Cumberland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moorestown Friends, they will take on Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
