Lincoln is 9-1 against Franklin since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lincoln Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Franklin Quakers at 6:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Lincoln was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-46 to Grant. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Generals: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Franklin was beaten by Jefferson 111-26 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Democrats are ranked fifth).

Lincoln's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Lincoln took their victory against Franklin in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 56-34. Does Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
