Volleyball Recap: Kaukauna Falls Short Against Ranked Madison West

Kaukauna faced Madison West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Galloping Ghosts fell 2-0 to the Regents. The Galloping Ghosts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Regents apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Kaukauna's offense was headlined by Maverik Kelderman and Clayton Torrey, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Sam Hussin and his 15 assists.

Kaukauna is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-11. As for Madison West, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.

Kaukauna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Madison Memorial on the 27th. As for Madison West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Homestead on the 27th.
