Basketball Recap: Dinwiddie Comes Up Short

Dinwiddie was the 70-49 winner over Matoaca when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors on Friday.

Dinwiddie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dinwiddie will take on Mecklenburg County in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Matoaca, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bayside at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
