Baseball Recap: Great Hearts Irving Comes Up Short

After flying high against Roosevelt last Monday, Great Hearts Irving came back down to earth. The Great Hearts Irving Mustangs lost 16-1 to the Bishop Dunne Falcons on Friday.

John Voltin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. Rafe Butler also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Great Hearts Irving now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Bishop Dunne, their record is now 4-8-1.

Great Hearts Irving will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Dunne at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Bishop Dunne, they will take on Trinity Leadership at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
