Soccer Recap: Fairview's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fairview's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rocky Mountain Lobos a 2-0 shutout. The Knights' winning goal came courtesy of Lucy Ochs.

The win (which was Fairview's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Rocky Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will square off against Boulder at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th. Rocky Mountain will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Legend at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
