Baseball Recap: Canoga Park Comes Up Short

Fulton hit Canoga Park with a 13-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hunters came up short against the Jaguars, falling 18-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-5 back in March.

Emmanuel Morales led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Adrian Acosta, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Canoga Park's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Fulton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
