Basketball Recap: Ipswich Comes Up Short

Ipswich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Amesbury Redhawks 60-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-26 back in December of 2024.

Ipswich's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Amesbury, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Ipswich will welcome North Reading at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Amesbury, they will square off against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
