Volleyball Recap: Thomas Heyward Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Thomas Heyward Academy had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Thomas Heyward Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Coastal HomeSchool between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-14.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Heyward Academy will host Beaufort Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Bible Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
