Basketball Recap: Rio Comes Up Short

Rio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 67-46 to the Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 75-47 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rio's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Cambria-Friesland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Rio has already played their next game (against Pardeeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cambria-Friesland will square off against Johnson Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
