Basketball Game Preview: Gorham Rams vs. Marshwood Hawks

The Gorham Rams will face off against the Marshwood Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gorham has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-40, which was the final score in Gorham's tilt against Cheverus on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Stags are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, Marshwood took a blow against Falmouth on Thursday, falling 54-21. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Marshwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Gorham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Gorham beat Marshwood 60-51 when the teams last played back in December of 2014. Will Gorham repeat their success, or does Marshwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
