Football Recap: Turlock Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Turlock had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Rocklin Thunder on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Reeve Slone looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 208 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. A healthy portion of Slone's aerial production (106 yards to be exact) went to Josiah Andrews, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Coming up, Turlock will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Tracy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rocklin, they will venture away from home to challenge Bishop Manogue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
