Centerville skates past Elyria Catholic with ease

The Centerville Elks waltzed into their contest Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Elyria Catholic 69-30 at home. That looming 69-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Centerville yet this season.

Mya Rivera and Isabelle Niederst certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Rivera scored 14 points, while Niederst scored seven points along with six rebounds. The match was Rivera's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Camara Ogletree, who scored three points.

Centerville's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Elyria Catholic, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
