Basketball Game Preview: Wilkes Central Eagles vs. West Caldwell Warriors

The Wilkes Central Eagles will square off against the West Caldwell Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wilkes Central is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games dating back to last season on Monday. They lost 76-50 to Bandys.

Meanwhile, West Caldwell played a tough matchup last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by South Caldwell and fell 76-37. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

Wilkes Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Caldwell, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Wilkes Central was taken down by West Caldwell 75-33 in their previous meeting back in December of 2019. Thankfully for the Eagles, Javon Elleby (who shot 91% from the field en route to 26 points along with seven assists and four steals) won't be suiting up this time.
