Marshall is a perfect 7-0 against Wilson since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Barristers will challenge the Mules at 4:30 p.m. Marshall will be strutting in after a victory while Wilson will be coming in after a loss.

Marshall had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Franklin on Monday. The Barristers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. The Barristers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Wilson suffered their biggest defeat since April 15, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Eagle Rock, falling 3-0. The Mules have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-20.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Marshall, their victory bumped their record up to 15-16.

Marshall beat Wilson 3-1 in their previous matchup on April 2nd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Barristers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
