Basketball Recap: Williams Vikings vs. Rock Point Cougars
It was a good run, but the Williams Vikings unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 66-55 to Rock Point. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Williams still got an impressive performance from Kai Mortensen, who scored 32 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Mortensen has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Braydyn Larimore, who scored 11 points.
Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Rock Point, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-9.
Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rock Point also has no future games currently scheduled.
