Basketball Game Preview: Coshocton Redskins vs. Edison Wildcats

The Coshocton Redskins will take on the Edison Wildcats in a tournament on Saturday. Coshocton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Edison likes a good challenge.

Coshocton took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Fairless 77-43. The Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Edison came up short against Conotton Valley on Friday and fell 53-41.

Coshocton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Edison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
