Shady Acres Christian can't be to happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on January 7th. They were beaten by Humble Christian 44-16. The Mavericks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 22-2.

Meanwhile, Banff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Humble Christian, falling 38-13. One positive for the Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
