Football Recap: Crenshaw's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Crenshaw entered their tilt with Fairfax on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 19-12 victory over the Lions.

Ahmani Bell was a one-woman wrecking crew as she rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Crenshaw was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Another reason for the win was Crenshaw's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Mikenzie Adams and Rashi Avery-Smith, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Crenshaw's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Coincidentally, Crenshaw and Fairfax will both be playing Bernstein the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Dragons at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
