Volleyball Recap: Woodsboro Comes Up Short

If Woodsboro was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mathis on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Alice Coyotes on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost three in a row.

While Woodsboro was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Woodsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Woodsboro will take on Incarnate Word Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alice, they will be playing at home against Ray at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
