New Hope took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Grenada, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. New Hope skirted past Grenada 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won four matchups in a row.

New Hope saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedi Martin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

New Hope's record now sits at 10-6. As for Grenada, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, New Hope will host Clarksdale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grenada, they have already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against St. Benedict at Auburndale on the 21st.
