Soccer Recap: Mullen Finishes Even with The Classical Academy

Mullen and The Classical Academy pushed the score to 5-3 the last time they played The Classical Academy, but on Saturday defenses reigned supreme. The Mustangs and the Titans finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Mullen have been dealt a draw since back in April.

Their goal came courtesy of Addison Pettit, who's now up to four this season.

Mullen didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against D'Evelyn on the 7th. As for The Classical Academy, they will challenge KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. KIPP Denver Collegiate will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something The Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
