Central is 7-0 against Bellwood-Antis since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Central Dragons will welcome the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils at 7:15 p.m. The timing is sure in Central's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Bellwood-Antis has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Monday, Central strolled past Cambria Heights with points to spare, taking the game 59-41. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Highlanders are ranked 537th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bellwood-Antis played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Forest Hills 59-24. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Central will have to keep a close watch on Connor Mayes and Avery Bardell, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bellwood-Antis' prior game. Mayes posted 14 points, while Bardell had three points and five boards. Bardell also posted an assist, marking his first of the season.

Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Bellwood-Antis, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything came up roses for Central against Bellwood-Antis in their previous meeting last Monday, as the squad secured a 59-29 victory. Will Central repeat their success, or does Bellwood-Antis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
