Softball Recap: Fairfield Union Comes Up Short

Fairfield Union lost against Bloom-Carroll back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons lost 16-9 to the Bulldogs. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield Union's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Bloom-Carroll, they pushed their record up to 16-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield Union will host Logan Elm at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bloom-Carroll, they will welcome Licking Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.8, the Panthers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
