Uwharrie Charter Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bradford Prep with a sharp 20-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

In other batting news, Carly Rush was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Ryley Thompson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Uwharrie Charter Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
