Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Marion Wildcats.

Notre Dame now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Marion, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Notre Dame is taking a road trip to square off against Poplar Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion, they will take on St. Anthony at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
