Volleyball Recap: Coastal Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coastal Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Madison Warhawks on Tuesday.

While Coastal Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

Zac Garland paced Coastal Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Garland got some help from Cole Sulouff and his 19 assists. Jack Hough controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Coastal Academy now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 16-14.

Coastal Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Escondido Charter on the 8th.
