Shoals won the last time they faced Mitchell and things went their way on Saturday too. The Jug Rox walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bluejackets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jug Rox.

While Shoals won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23.

Mitchell's loss came despite strong showings from Natalee Nissley and Paisley Modglin. Nissley had 13 digs and two assists, while Modglin had six digs and two aces.

Shoals' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mitchell, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Shoals has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Crawford County on the 23rd. As for Mitchell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lanesville on the 23rd.
