Softball Recap: Buena Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Buena's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Hammonton Blue Devils on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Chiefs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Buena saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leylani Muniz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Buena and nudges their season record down to 16-8. As for Hammonton, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Buena will host Salem County Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hammonton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Vineland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
