Basketball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern and Chesapeake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Eastern had to settle for second. They fell 53-40 to the Chesapeake Panthers. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Chesapeake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-3.

Eastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chesapeake, they will take on Wheelersburg at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Wheelersburg will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Chesapeake surely won't give up without a fight.
