Soccer Recap: Seneca Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Seneca proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the Travelers Rest Devildogs 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in March.

Seneca's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. As for Travelers Rest, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13-1 record this season.

Seneca will be playing at home against Berea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Travelers Rest, they will take on Daniel at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Daniel will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Travelers Rest surely won't give up without a fight.
