Baseball Recap: Teaneck Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tenafly last Monday, Teaneck came back down to earth. The Highwaymen took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Wednesday. The Highwaymen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Teaneck saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Delgado, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Teaneck's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tenafly, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Teaneck will be playing in front of their home fans against Dumont at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tenafly, they will challenge Pascack Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
