Basketball Recap: Pilgrim Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pilgrim entered their match against Ojai Valley on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pilgrim Panthers fell just short of the Ojai Valley Spuds by a score of 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since January 24, 2024.

Ojai Valley was led to victory by Edward Ying and Joey Edelson. Ying posted 23 points, while Edelson put up 17 points and eight steals. Ray Hsu was another key player, putting up nine points and eight boards.

Pilgrim's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Ojai Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
