Soccer Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest entered their game against South Webster on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mohawks lost 7-1 to the Jeeps. While losing is never fun, Northwest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 250th, while South Webster are ranked 43rd).

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for South Webster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-0-1.

Looking ahead, Northwest will take on Portsmouth West at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Webster, they will head out on the road to take on Lynchburg-Clay at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
