Baseball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Mountain Home's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Mountain Home blew past Jerome 14-7. The result was nothing new for Mountain Home, who have now won four matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Mountain Home got a massive performance out of Tre Morse, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Morse a new career-high. Tyler Petersen was another key player, going 4-for-5 with five RBI.

Mountain Home has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Jerome, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Coming up, Mountain Home will take on Twin Falls in a tournament on Monday. As for Jerome, they will square off against Minico at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Spartans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
