Soccer Recap: Chittenango Takes a Loss

If Chittenango was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell 2-0 to the Westhill Warriors on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Chittenango couldn't quite close it out.

Chittenango's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Westhill, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chittenango will challenge rival Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Westhill is set to take on their familiar foe Jordan-Elbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
