Perry-Lecompton extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping them up to 13-11. They had just enough and edged out the Lawrence Chesty Lions 6-4. That's two games straight that the Kaws have won by exactly two runs.

Olivia Hart made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Hart was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Paxton Damme, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jolie Corcoran was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Perry-Lecompton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are 6-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

As for Lawrence, they now have a losing record of 1-2. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly two runs.

On Lawrence's side, Zoey Barber made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs.

As of now, neither Perry-Lecompton nor the Chesty Lions have any future games scheduled.
