Basketball Recap: Auburn Extends Winning Streak to Two

If Loachapoka wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Auburn, they should've done a better job of containing Antwane Daniels. The Tigers blew past the Indians 64-41 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Daniels, who went 11-for-23 en route to 26 points and eight boards. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points.

Jordan Tyner and Montrevious Poole certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Tyner shot 56% from the field on his way to 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Poole posted six points. Tyner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Auburn and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Loachapoka, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Auburn will square off against Hazel Green at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loachapoka, they will be home for the holidays to greet Horseshoe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
