Basketball Game Preview: Richland Rams vs. Clearfield Bison

The Richland Rams will head out to face off against the Clearfield Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Richland is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Richland came up short against Forest Hills and fell 62-54. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Rangers are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, Clearfield didn't have quite enough to beat Central on Wednesday and fell 54-51. The Bison have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Clearfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Richland strolled past Clearfield when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 63-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Richland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
