Recap: Jenkintown Drakes vs. Calvary Christian Academy Cougars
The Jenkintown Drakes proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 26) but on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Calvary Christian Academy 38-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Jenkintown.
Jenkintown had a senior duo take command as Kareem Jackson scored 19 points along with three blocks and Tommy Walsh scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Walsh is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.
Jenkintown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.
Jenkintown and Delaware County Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Delaware County Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 818 points over their last 11 matches. Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
